Therapeutic Massage

Therapeutic Massage has a very specific purpose, which is to reduce muscle pain and chronic pain patterns. These treatments are extremely effective and have been perfected at Oak Haven over the past 33 years. However, this work can be a bit intense and uncomfortable. As always, you are in charge of the pressure and can request for the therapist to work with less intensity. If you have had muscle based problems for any extended period of time, you should expect at least 4 to 6 treatments to effectively impact your condition.

This work is only performed by our most experienced Therapeutic Specialists who have specific training and expertise in treating these types of chronic, muscle based problems.

Targeted Manual Therapy

It's specifically targeted bodywork, intended to alleviate musculoskeletal dysfunctions, pain or soreness in a number of conditions. This style of work is slow, detail oriented, targeting muscles only related to the problem areas. Sessions are therapeutic, can be intense and often need in- session communication. Correcting inappropriate motor patterns usually requires multiple sessions in a short span of time, following a customized treatment plan.

All we ask is that you give us at least four hours of notice if you need to change, reschedule or cancel your appointment. There is a fee for any late cancellations or missed appointments *. This fee is given to the Massage Therapist to compensate them for the missed appointment. We require a credit card to be on file for every client. 3. Liability Waiver

I understand that the therapist shall not engage in breast massage.
I understand any and all private areas will be completely covered at all times during the massage.
I understand that should I become uncomfortable for any reason, I may ask the therapist to terminate the session.
I understand that this is not a sexual massage and inappropriate or suggestive remarks will result in termination of the session and no refunds given.
It is common in the massage industry to refer to appointments as One Hour and Half Hour sessions, but they are actually 50 minutes and 25 minutes of hands on time to allow for changing and pre/post consultation.
Oak Haven Massage does not accept insurance, nor do they file paperwork on Institutions on the clients behalf.
